Songs, Lessons and Activities
Reading, Writing and Rhythm-e-tic features songs for music and movement to motivate and reinforce the learning of language and math skills. The variety of music styles, imaginative lyrics and action repertoire will make the learning of valuable concepts and skills a fun experience. Each song can be easily adapted for special needs children through the use of rhythm instruments and simple movements that address gross motor development.
The RWR activity book provides a lesson module for each song that includes a lyric page, sequential lesson plan including cross-curricular connections, a reproducible activity and a "planning links" page with learning stands from several curriculum documents.
An added feature of the CD is the instrumental track which follows each vocal selection to encourage creativity and provide accompaniment for performance purposes.
