About the Conference

What is the National Conference, and who attends?
The National Conference provides an opportunity for delegates to network with colleagues and increase their knowledge and skills to foster healthy active living for children and youth in the school community.
Delegates are people involved with the health, physical activity and education needs of children and youth including educators, public health, administrators, recreation leaders, physical education specialists and generalists who want more information regarding physical education.

Action Schools! BC and Premier’s Sport Awards Program:
Action Schools! BC is a best practices model designed to assist schools in creating individualized action plans to promote healthy living. The Premier’s Sports Awards Program provides sport skill development resources for teachers, coaches and instructors teaching children their basic sport skills.
MOTIVATE Canada:
Motivate Canada is a Canadian charitable organization that specializes in improving the lives of young people by fostering civic engagement, social entrepreneurship, social inclusion and leadership among youth using techniques from sport, physical education and community driven development.
The Dairy Farmers of Ontario provides a variety of FREE educational resources for students and teachers in addition to supporting the Elementary School Milk Program and other school-based initiatives.
