At its Annual General Meeting on Friday, May 30, 2008, the Canadian Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (CAHPERD) general assembly voted to accept the motion set by the Board of Directors to change the Association's name to: Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE Canada) / Éducation physique et santé Canada (EPS Canada).More |

Name Change
At the recent CAHPERD Board of Directors meeting, a
motion was passed that involves the suggestion of a name change
at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2008. The recommended
name is: Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE
Canada). The name change is being suggested as a
way to better reflect our vision and our mission (which remains
